My POP indicates my car should have the B93 door edge guards. It currently doesn't have any and I'm not even sure what they look like. I did a search here and couldn't find anything -- saw a few discussions about B93, but no descriptive info about them. Found one pic of a car with them, but it was taken from the front angle and low res, so I couldn't see much.
Any help would be, well, um, helpful.
Thanks.

There's not really much to them. They're just thin metal strips that get attached to the edge of the doors. HERE'S (https://www.ebay.com/itm/225072193245?hash=item3467591edd:g:P7UAAOSw-kJiS6NZ) a set on ebay.

Most of the ones you see for sale don't include the three barb clips per side, as illustrated in the AIM. Possibly they did away with them on later service replacements and changed the design a little, due to them cutting into the paint.

I've got a pair of originals I don't care to use. ;)

I remember taking my originals off for body prep and how the dug into the paint. It was a no go for reinstall after paint. If I’m careful, I don’t ding the door edge. If I have a door edge guard and ding that, now it looks bad.

Thanks, everyone. That's helpful. I like to stay factory correct, as much as I can, but I may leave these off. My car has a spoiler, incorrect rally wheels, incorrect F70-14 redlines (should be D70-14), and an aftermarket stereo (though the original AM may be going back in soon). So, I do have a few incorrect items on the car. I think I'll add this as a solid #5 red x and leave them off. Appreciate the responses.

Here's what the UPC B93 clips look like, if supplied. Note the two teeth on each. It didn't take my resto shop long to talk me out of installing the NOS edge guards I had.
