Lloyd also took pics of this car at MCACN in November and wants to share some of the original details.
This is the only pic I have of the car, and may replace it later if I get a better one.
-
Lloyd told me he took amost 400 pictures of this car. Car was originally from Murray-Bryant Chevrolet in Tucson Arizona. Guy Youngdell bought it from the original owner 2 years ago. Sat in my garage for 3 months while the original owner was having work done at his house. The picture you have was taken where the car was sitting for several years....under a carport....Joe

Assume this is an X22 car ? I'm going to pin this on my wall as an inspiration for what my L78 should look like (except for the wheels). Looks fantastic, can't wait to see more of it -

The car is a X22. Car has some interesting options and is unrestored. It had 11,998 original miles on it when it left my house....Joe
-
Low miles and stored in a carport. Like the old line out of the movie "The Maltese Falcon" - 'the stuff that dreams are made of'. Certainly is -

any chance a few pics from the 400 can be posted?

I have pics of it from MCACN. I looked it over real good. Original paint and low miles. Cool car
-
I started the thread so Lloyd could post pics. He must have gotten busy.
Locking this until he contacts me again.

Unlocked.
I believe Chick has some pics he might post.

This car is part of the HBC collection.
Jim’s Description
Here we have the most original 1969 Camaro I've ever seen in my 35 years. 12,025 original miles. SS 396-375 hp, M22, 3.73. Every single part is original and zero paint touch ups. This car is a time capsule. Nothing, repeat nothing has been changed. Battery replaced and tires replaced in 1976. That is it. Western car. Absolutely no decay. Cars like this are unique to say the least. Window sticker, Protect O Plate, build sheet, owner history, original keys, original sun visor card, original manual. There will be more photos and a complete run down on everything. Once in a lifetime car.

Seems Jim bought it from Mike Kaiser - Kaiser got it from the gentleman from Utah i believe who bought it prior to the MCACN show a few yrs ago from the orig owner in Tuscon AZ.
-
i know for sure that is the window sticker - that protecto plate? - is the the one for the car? - because the dealer on the window sticker is from Tuscon NOT Indiana. Dealer trade car?
-
I can try to ask Jim to see if he knows.
-
Very nice car indeed. I guess memory has started to fade a bit, reading that the M-22 cost $6.10 more than the 396/375.
-
The car is an original Tucson Az car. The POP is not from this car.....Joe
-
That's my kind of girl ordering this in 1969.
-
Or Mom.
-
POP pic removed.
-
Or Mom.
It was his mom. College grad gift. His father & him ordered the car but his dad died before Rick rec'd it...Joe
-
Joe - i did not see the pop when i looked at it - is it with the car?

Joe - i did not see the pop when i looked at it - is it with the car?
The POP was actually is a safety deposit box with other car papers when you were by. The POP was with the car when Guy took delivery. It doesn't look like I ever got a picture of it. Lloyd took a bunch of pictures at MCACN of everything that was with the car...Joe
-
talking with Lloyd - he did not get pics of the paperwork - so maybe the owner or Guy has a picture of it we can post?
-
Guy took some pictures, thankfully....Joe
-
Yes, thankfully and that this is with the car too!
Thanks for chasing it down Joe.

You're welcome Eddie....Joe

Great photos. Thanks for sharing.

Wow.... my goodness...

.
Is it my imagination, or are the pulleys out of alignment?
I had a high winding small block with pulleys like that and it frequently sent the fan belt flying.
-
I noticed that also but I think it is the camera angle causing it to look that way.
-
I'm pretty sure the alternator bracket itself is bent......how - beats me. But it has a weird tilt to it.
-
Several detailed photos I took during Vintage Certification have been posted by Steve S on the SYC site under the Vintage Certification thread. Here is the link:
