I am finally getting around to putting the seat belts back in the car, unfortunatly I did not take them out and I can't for the life of me figure out how to install the "hump" side belt with the rubber boot on it. It appears the bolt has to go thru the hole in the boot, but once you do that you can't access the bolt head???
As always, thanks for any help.

Do you have the rubber only or the rubber with the metal? Similar mounting though. Both need to be put in the sun to soften them up. For the metal, just thread the belt ends into the slot paying attention to orientation of buckles (do not want them twisted or upside down). Then slide boot forward, tighten bolt, then slide boot back hooking the metal ends under the belt ends.
For the later style rubber only with a hole for the bolt. Slide the belts as before, but you need to make a big loop of the belts to the side so you can get a wrench in. Then after you tighten bolt, then pull the belts to take the loop out :)

thanks, I will give that a try!

FWIW - I use a soldering iron to make my holes through the carpet - that way the heat seals the ends of the carpet so it won't "pull".
