Title: Radiator Overflow Hose Clips
Post by: cook_dw on June 20, 2021, 10:13:38 PM
While going through some recent purchased parts I have run across several radiator overflow hose clip codes.  I would like to see if I can collect data points in this thread to verify if there is any correlation or if it is some type of date or ???  Unless someone has info on this topic it would be greatly appreciated. If the powers that be feel this is a valid topic to be moved to research topics that would be fine as well.  Thanks.

"AD"
I wonder if it is a Mfr. Marking or application vice "date-code"?

Thanks Jim.  Was this off the Z?  Probably need to lay out what data needed for capture.

Year, Assembly plant, build date, engine option, rad code, overflow clip code

68, LOS, 12D, z28, UH, AD

Make sure I have the data correct as I went off memory.  I have seen AD, AG, BG, BH.  I even have one that is supposed to be from a 68 camaro (do not know the details) but it just has a "4" so it debunks that only letters were used..

This is a good topic. Unfortunately, at least right now, I do not have anything to share.
