Hi, I have a 1969 Camaro Z/28 survivor with 36,000 original miles, matching numbers with all it original date code parts except for the fuel pump. My car is a June built car, and I need either a May(EI 40669) or June(FI 40669) Delco fuel pump. I have been searching for sometime now with no look. My question is did they produce pumps every month in 1969, cause it seems like I’m either coming across January(AI) or July(GI) and nothing else.

You could contact either of these two rebuilders of crimped style fuel pumps in the thread below and ask their collective opinion, since they see quite a few of these:

If you do get an answer, post your results (and then we'll all know !).
Regards,
Steve

Can’t answer about the build dates, other than to say I have an AI-dated (January 1969) 40669 pump. Not sure about running or shelving it at this stage, as it has not been used in decades.

Greetings, somewhat of along shot but seeing if you still have your 40669 fuel pump. If so, please let me know. My email is richppelton@gmail.com. It appears you are in Australia, I am on west coast in USA. Thanks for the consideration.

Rich,
We don't do the sales thing on the forum. Just send him a PM.
