Title: Correct Alternator for 69 z28 with transistor Ignition.

Hi, I’m looking for the correct assembly line correct alternator model number and amperage. This is going and 1969 RS/Z28 Crossram JL8 Camaro.

Neither transistor ignition or cross ram were installed from the factory on a Z/28 so for an "assm line correct" alternator, The Z/28 came with a 37A alternator.....Joe

That's 99.97% correct.

The 69 ZL1 Camaros were built with the K66 ignition as standard equipment and used the production 1100837 37A alternator.

Remember the K66 needs constant 12v.

Ok ,on the alternator what about the voltage regulator was it the stock one or transistor ignition one ?
