Title: "69 Front fender splash apron staples
Post by: dale_z28 on June 16, 2016, 01:19:51 AM
Which way do they point? Ends bent over into engine compartment, or into wheel house? I know the rubber goes on the outside (in the wheelhouse), just not sure about the staples. Thanks!

Dale, review how the staple on back side looked as it is somewhat unique. I spent time working to duplicate & not difficult but it takes a little tome and practice. I used a needle nose to curl as originals but it takes another set of hands to keep staple taunt while curling one end at a time.

Thanks, yes, we figured we'd need the extra hands so my brother went over (today was the day, in fact) to get the aprons on. I don't imagine the curls are perfect, but I'm so anxious to get the car home I don't want to open my mouth about another detail!
