Doesn't anyone publish a reference book on 1967-69 Camaros like the Haynes series. They only offer manuals for later model Camaros. I have the GM Overhaul Manual, Service Manual and AIM and they still don't illustrate like the Haynes series does on other makes and models. I have one of their manuals on my truck and it is excellent. Noticed other posts refer to the AIM, which is good, but they only have drawings, and sometimes I need to see more detail and pictures would do the trick. Any help?

Go to the CRG homepage (click on the CRG logo at the top of the forum homepage). Click on the Camaro Literature link. Restoration Guides are listed.
Frankly, the British, like Haynes, are more into Guides than we are in the US.

I have 2 of those books along with Jerry's book. Which book would be closest to a Haynes book?

Are you looking for maintenance information? or assembly/correctness information? The factory service manuals are far superior to the Haynes/Chiltons type manuals (IMO). I have the factory Service Manual, the Overhaul manual, and somewhere a Fisher Body manual (although I haven't seen it lately)... I think I have an extra factory Service manual for '69 (the '69 factory manuals cover all the body styles), and I think I have a Chilton's manual for the first gen ('67-69 Camaro)..
PS. I also have a copy of 'The 1969 Camaro Reference Book' from "A" to 'Z" by John R. Hooper which has lots of photos...

I'd go to a good bookstore (if you can still find one) and take a look at a Chilton Manual.
I understand what you are saying about the Haynes Manuals. They are more geared to visual learning than the Service Manual, etc.

The Definitive 1969 Camaro Z/28-SS396 Fact Book is available for around $25 plus shipping, if I remember correctly. I searched ebay and there are folks out there asking upwards of $300 for it... don't fall for that!! I emailed Jerry yesterday about availability (z28camaro.com) and he confirmed that he had them.
