Title: Shipping Auto Parts
Post by: ko-lek-tor on December 06, 2015, 08:59:58 PM
In my own research to find the best way to ship a glass 1/4 window, I found this site that may just benefit others here that ship auto parts.
So I thought I would share. http://images.fedex.com/us/packaging/guides/Automotive_fxcom.pdf

Bubble wrap usually comes to mind first. I used to work in an upscale salvage yard that had it's own shipping dept. They shipped glass by wrapping it in a plastic sheath and using expanding foam around it in a box. I did a similar packaging of this glass I sent by using a plastic garbage liner and expanding insulation foam.
