These past few days, I have been dis-assembling my 69Z and removed my deluxe door panels. On the back of the RH door panel was the number 46 written in black grease pencil and the numbers were about 2 1/2" tall. The numbers were located toward the bottom of the panel, below the holes for the chrome strip for the carpet.
Would this possibly indicate that my car was number 46 in the Fisher Body Trim Shop?
If these are Fisher numbers issued to the car, where else have numbers been found within the interior to indicate sequence numbers?
Is this a common place to find Fisher numbers from interior shop?
Has anyone else found similar numbers on door panels?
Thanks,
Bryan

Was your number 32 and 14 on the same door panel? Have you found either of those numbers anywhere else?
Thanks,
