I read somewhere about the adj brackets for a 1968 z/28 being attached to the alternator differently between Los Angeles & Norwood but I can't find that post. Can anybody help me find that discussion please? Thank you, Joe

Are you referring to the upper brackets being positioned in front of the alternator mounting tab as opposed to being positioned behind the tab? If so, I know that it has been discussed over on Team Camaro. Haven't the time right now to look it up, but will try later when I return.

Yes. That's what I'm looking for...Thank you, Joe

Joe, there is no proof per se that NOR did it one way and LOS did it another but there are several pictures that at least assist in indicating they were put on both ways from the factory but the acknowledged correct way is brackets to the front. I have pictures and some information in my build thread. Since the pictures came from the Peterson picture gallery (thanks to Jon Mello) we can only assume they were LOS built cars but Darrell posted a picture of what I think was a NOR car back in the day.
My build thread and check page 54 Joe!
