On a 69 Camaro w/ factory A/C, are the heater core tubes location on the firewall the same for any engine, I saw a 69 for sale that is a factory A/C car, the A/C box and all equipment are gone, the seller says it is a B.B. car because of the heater tube location moved toward the fender, but I cannot find any proof this car was an original Big Block car.

Heater tubes on an A/c car are outboard near the hood hinges like a big block car, but the core itself is different than a big block heater core.

Is the heater tube location the same for any engine with factory A/C , this is my question.
Thanks
-
Yes the A/C heater cores are all the same and come thru the evaporator housing in the same location, big block or small block.

Thanks Mark, this info. helps .

Great photo, this is what I saw when I went to look at the car, the owner thinks because the heater tubes are near the fender he has a big block 69 Camaro.
Thanks.
