Its crusty but has the guts. Not sure if its a BS ad or what. I sent the seller a couple questions to see if this is legit.

I think this ad might be a scam Darrell, this car was listed on E-Bay a little while back and was bid up over $10K a few times, reverse was not met. $2K asking price now seems very odd considering...

I do not disagree and I searched for the vin on the site and nothing came up.. Thanks for the info.

Have not really gotten to go through pics in depth, but noticed tag is Jan. Engine clearly late 1st week- early 2nd week of Dec. 68

Look at some of the other cars on this site for sale.... 67 chevelle SS 4 sp for 7,300. 69 camaro convertible SS with 47 k miles for 11,200. Somethings not right....

Resurecting this old post. NOTE this is an old post. I am responding with new information and questions about seller and legitamacy of what is stated.
This car has just been made available again: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Chevrolet-Camaro-Z28-1969-chevrolet-camaro-z-28-numbers-matching-dz-302-/331332693948?forcerrptr=true&hash=item4d24f7afbc&item=331332693948&pt=US_Cars_Trucks#ht_2389wt_1312
Is this car legit now or still a scam? Everything looked ok about the ad, the car and seller. I then decided to see if any information was on our site regarding the missing trans. I put in the VIN under the search and this post came up.

Legit. Car has been in primer since 2007, btw.

This car was assembled OOA 21Jan1969; the parts identified by date would seem to be consistent with this, although the engine is about 6 weeks prior (seems a bit early?), but has the correct VIN which seems original...
